Nora Osuchowski currently is the Executive Director of Ballston Area Recreation Commission (BARC). BARC provides youth recreation programming to children in the Ballston Spa Area. Prior to this she spent 18 years working for not-for-profit agencies that provided services to people with disabilities & their families. Starting out as a recreation therapist in an after school program and moving her way up to Director of Community Services. She has a BA in Creative Arts & Therapy from Russell Sage with a concentration in visual art & theater. Nora has served on the boards of the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association, coordinating their farmers’ market & adopt a plot programs; served as the Vice President of the Board of the Saratoga County History Center assisting with educational programs; and currently serves as the President of the Board for the Ballston Area Community Center. Nora is also a mom of six kids, a health coach, and a lifelong resident of Ballston Spa.
